For the majority of my adult years, my focus revolved around my roles as a wife and mother. I have been happily married to Mark, my high school sweetheart, for 43 years. We have raised 5 children, all of whom were homeschooled. While I cherished the experience of nurturing my children and my new roll as grandmother…it wasn't until my youngest child embarked on their own journey that I realized I had lost sight of my own identity in the process of taking care of the family. Feeling a profound sense of aimlessness, I found myself pondering the question: What lies ahead for me?

Seeing that throughout my life, individuals have always felt comfortable confiding in me about their personal hardships, familial disputes, and relationship challenges. This observation brought clarity to my next chapter of life.  At the age of 58, I started my journey by obtaining my Level 1 Certificate in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from the Allender Center.  Additionally, I immersed myself in studying the enneagram, an experience that profoundly changed me. This newfound knowledge sparked a deep-seated desire within me to assist women, particularly those in the latter stages of life to flourish. As a result, I obtained certification as an enneagram coach.
